Atomic commit
A commit that contains exactly one complete, logical change, so it can be understood, reviewed and undone on its own.
Say it to an AI
Commit these changes as atomic commits, one logical change each, with Conventional Commits messages: 'type(scope): summary' in the imperative, under 60 characters, saying what changed and where (e.g. 'fix(invoices): round VAT per line'). No 'wip', 'fix' or 'update' on their own.
How an expert would brief the stronger version of “Commit history”.

Try it as a puzzle →The last week of commits on main for an invoicing app, as seen on its repository page.
Why: B's entries are each one thing (a VAT fix, a PDF feature, a test); in A, 'refactor' or 'fix email' gives no hint whether an entry holds one change or several.
