Nominal categories
Categories with no natural order, such as topics or countries, so the chart's order is a choice the maker has to make deliberately.
Say it to an AI
Horizontal bar chart of last month's help-center tickets by topic, answering 'which topics generate the most tickets'. Use sorted bars in ranked order, largest first, with the count at the end of each bar and the top topic darker; topics are nominal categories, so don't default to alphabetical.
