Rounding
Shortening a number to fewer digits by moving to the nearest value at that precision, so 17.9 becomes 18 and never 20.
Say it to an AI
Four KPI tiles for a store overview: conversion rate, revenue, average order and refund rate, each with a delta vs the same days last month. Show each headline number with sensible precision, two or three significant figures ('3.1%', '$1.23M', '$86'), never raw decimals; use rounding rather than false precision.
