Inverted axis

A value axis drawn with its smallest value at the top, used when a lower number is better, such as ranks, positions or error rates.

Say it to an AI

Line chart of the show's weekly category rank over eight weeks with a takeaway title. Ranks are ordinal data, so use an inverted axis with #1 at the top and ticks at #1, #5, #10, #15, and label the final position at the line end.

Category-rank trend on a podcast analytics dashboard for an independent show.

Study A · the weaker one
Study B · the stronger one

Why: B's tick labels run #1, #5, #10, #15 from top to bottom; A's run the other way, so the #2 finish sits near the floor.
