Color ramp

Also called tonal scale

A series of tints and shades of one hue, from very light to very dark, often numbered like 100 to 900.

Say it to an AI

Deck list with CEFR level tags colored as a single-hue color ramp: A1 a pale teal tint through to C1 a deep teal shade, flipping to white text once the fill gets dark. The levels are ordered, so sequential color, not a rainbow of categorical hues.
