Redundant encoding

Also called dual coding

Showing the same information in two ways at once, such as color plus shape or color plus a label.

Say it to an AI

PR checks list where status never relies on color alone: use redundant encoding with a check, cross or clock icon plus a short 'Passed/Failed/Running' label in the status color, so a red-green color vision deficiency doesn't hide the failed check.
